Redes por una nueva política educativa organises on February 7 the round table: “New educational law. Participation mechanisms Network proposal. Public Education, a tool for inclusion ”
About two years ago, the campaign “Educational Pact for the Public, Inclusive and Lay School” began on change.org, which collected more than five thousand signatures, in order to request support for a pact that is summarized in the Document of basis for a new education law. From the educational community itself and with the support of more than forty educational groups and organizations, unions and political parties, which have been grouped into what is known as Redes por una nueva política educativa, a pact is sought that of stability to the education system, which formally supports the UNESCO Chair in Education for Social Justice.
Under this context, the Education Sciences Section of Ateneo de Madrid and Redes por una nueva política educativa organise the Round Table: New educational law. Participation mechanisms Network proposal. Public Education, a tool for inclusion for February 7 in the Nueva Estafeta room of the Ateneo de Madrid (C / Prado 21) at 5.30 p.m. During the day, the first Redes por una nueva política educativa‘s coordination meeting will take place, a network where the UNESCO Chair in Education for Social Justice is part of.
The event will be presented and hosted by Francisca Majó, from the Education sciences section of Ateneo de Madrid, where deputies and congressmen will participate, and admission is free until full capacity is reached. The round table has been structured in a first part of discussion for the analysis of the current educational situation with the participation of deputies and deputies of the Congress, and a second part where an assessment will be made on the path traveled, and where it can be discussed. Additionaly, it aims to lookf for a consensus on proposals for action in this regard.
