Jose Manuel Pérez

Lecturer of the Department of Specific Didactics.

 

Doctor in Biology (Genetics and Cellular Biology) from the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM) and Master in Toxicology from the University of Seville. I am accredited by ANECA as Professor of private university, Assistant Professor doctor, Associate Professor doctor and Full Professor of University. I also have the Certificate of pedagogical aptitude from the Complutense University of Madrid and the University Teaching Expert from the UAM.

 

He is currently Professor of the Department of Specific Didactics (Experimental Sciences) in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of the Autonomous University of Madrid. He teaches subjects related to the teaching of science in the Teaching Degrees of the UAM, directs Practicum, final degree projects and a doctoral thesis on the development of teaching strategies and tools in the teaching of science in secondary education.

 

Teaching career:

  • Full-time private university professor at the Faculty of Education of the Camilo José Cela University (Grades of Infant and Primary Ed. February 2014-October 2016).
  • Tutor Professor of the National University of Distance Education (Bachelor and Degree in Environmental Sciences. February 2013 – present).
  • Teaching and Research Staff in training (FPU Predoctoral Hired and Assistant Professor) at the UAM Faculty of Science. (Bachelors and Degrees in Biology and Biochemistry. September 2002-February 2014. And master’s degree in Cellular Biology and Genetics January 2011-January 2016).
  • Adjunct Professor of the Faculty of Education of the International University of La Rioja as director of TFM (May-October 2014).


Regarding the research aspect, it is worth mentioning the participation in Seminars, Days and Summer Courses in different universities. These acts have been framed in results obtained in 7 Educational research and innovation projects financed by public entities in which he has participated as a member of the research group. Also highlight the collaborations established with other research groups that have borne fruit in different scientific publications. These and other publications can be quantitatively summarized as 15 book chapters, 28 research articles, 11 in Teaching of Experimental Sciences and 17 in Environmental Toxicology, 20 of them in indexed international journals, and 61 communications in national and international congresses related to Cellular Biology, Toxicology and Science Education.
