The Chair participates in the session "The 2030 agenda as an instrument for political and social advocacy" organized by UNESCO Etxea
Last May 26th, the UNESCO Chair on Education for Social Justice participated in the panel of Arantza Acha, Director of UNESCO Etxea, related to the 2030 Agenda as an instrument of social and political advocacy to achieve fair and equitable sustainable development.
The training plan was discussed during the session with organizations that defend the rights of vulnerable groups. The main purpose of the plan is influencing the state affairs in order to adjust them to the agenda and expand the areas of protection and enjoyment of the fundamental rights.
Approximately 60 people were connected to the panel from different of geographic locations.
