Rosario Cerrillo Martín​

Coordinator of the UNESCO Chair Training Area in Education for Social Justice. Professor of the University of the Area of Didactics and School Organization of the Autonomous University of Madrid. Performs his teaching and research work at the Faculty of Teacher Education and Education, within the Department of Didactics and Theory of Education.

PhD in Philosophy and Sciences of Education (UCM), Degree in Philosophy and Sciences of Education (UCM) and Diploma in Professor of Basic General Education (UCM).

Since 2000, he has been a teacher at the UAM and has completed the undergraduate and graduate degrees, official Graduate and Postgraduate Degrees, own titles and doctoral programs. She has taught different signatures. Among them, it is worth mentioning: School Organization; Educational Processes and Contexts; Pedagogical Leadership and School Direction; General Didactics; Didactics and School Organization for Attention to Diversity; Methodological and Evaluative Strategies for the Improvement of Educational Quality; Design, Development and Innovation of Curriculum and Teaching Methodologies for Social Justice. Previous teaching experience in university teaching at all stages of education: Early Childhood, Primary and Secondary Education.

She is currently the Vice Dean of Postgraduate and PhD Studies of the Faculty of Teacher Education and Education (since 2014). She has been Coordinator of the Course of Psychopedagogy for 12 years and Coordinator of Educational Orientation (Master of Teacher Training of Secondary Education Obligator and Baccalaureate) for 5 years.

Since 2000, she has been a professor at the UAM in university teaching of First and Second Cycles, Official Degree and Postgraduate Degrees, Own degrees and Doctoral Programs. She has taught different subjects. Among them, it is worth mentioning: School Organization; Educational Processes and Contexts; Pedagogical leadership and School Management; General Teaching; Didactics and School Organization for the Attention to Diversity; Methodological and Evaluative Strategies for the Improvement of Educational Quality; Design, Development and Innovation of the Curriculum and Didactic Methodologies for Social Justice. She has previous teaching experience in non-university education in all educational stages: Infant, Primary and Secondary Education.

Member of the Research Group “Educational Change for Social Justice (GICE)”. Her main lines of research are: Education for Social Justice, Service Learning and Educational Leadership.

She participates in the Research Network on Leadership and Educational Improvement (RILME) and in the International Network of International Successful School Principals ’Project (ISSPP). She is a member of the European Network of Service-Learning University (Europe Engage), the Spanish University Network of Service-Learning (ApSU), the Spanish Network of Service-Learning and the Promoter Group of ApS in Madrid. She is part of the Board of Directors of the International Journal of Education for Social Justice (RIEJS) and the Pedagogical Trends Magazine.

She has participated in numerous competitive projects, both research and teaching innovation. She has disseminated the results of his research activity through scientific publications and through participation in international conferences.
