Cristina Fernández Correa

Senior Professor of Flute Travesera, Master in Innovation and Research in Education by the UNED, develops her teaching work as a teacher of transverse flute, choir and wind group and as head of studies at the Center for Musical Studies Classroom of Music in Madrid. As a flutist, he has participated in chamber groups dedicated to classical music and others dedicated to current music, such as E-wave (European Contemporary Flute Ensemble), directed by the flutist Wil Offermans, GIV, (Improvisation and Vocal Research Group), and Soplathat, a group of winds dedicated to improvisation. He has participated acting, composing, playing and singing in several shows of Children’s Theater with the Mobile Unit Company and in the show “Flamenco kids” of flamenco guitarist Jose Luis Montón. He has composed and arranged music for different formations and for theater. It is part of the G.I.C.E. (Research Group Educational Change for Social Justice), of the Faculty of Education of the Autonomous University of Madrid, directing the project “Voices for Social Justice” in which a proposal for Education for Social Justice is developed through the music.
