The Chair on Education for Social Justice establishes a new collaboration agreement with the Italian UNESCO Chair on Landscape, Cultural Heritage and Territorial Governance

One of the commitments of the UNESCO Chair in Education for Social Justice is to collaborate and cooperate with existing UNESCO Chairs in relevant activities and projects.

Following this objective, we have signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the UNESCO Chair in Landscape, Cultural Heritage and Territorial Governance and the BENECON Research Center for Cultural Heritage, Ecology and Economy. This collaboration agreement aims to develop joint initiatives and projects in the areas of interest of groups belonging to different universities: the Federico II University of Naples, the University of Campania Luigi Vanvitelli, the Pegaso Distance University, the University of Salerno, the University of Sannio, and the Autonomous University of Madrid.

The agreement, which was signed on the 21st of February between F. Javier Murillo, Director of the Chair of the Autonomous University of Madrid and Carmine Gambardella, President and CEO of BENECON, initiates a new international collaboration within the framework of the programs of the UNESCO and the Agenda 2030 Sustainable Development Goals.
