International Journal of Education for Social Justice
The International Journal of Education for Social Justice is an academic publication arbitrated and edited by the UNESCO Chair in Education for Social Justice of the Autonomous University of Madrid and the Publications Service of the Autonomous University of Madrid. The journal was born in October 2012 for the need to have a channel for the dissemination of quality research that understands Education as an engine of social transformation.
The objectives of the journal are to:
- Collaborate in the dissemination of educational research on Education for Social Justice.
- Encourage the use of research results to improve education systems, schools and classrooms focused on Social Justice.
- Encourage the conduct of quality educational research on Education for Social Justice.
- Collaborate in the debate on current educational research problems and social justice in education.
The International Journal of Education for Social Justice is part of Scopus and its SRJ database since September 2019. In addition, it is indexed in Emerging Sources Citation Index (ESCI), Google Scholar, Dialnet, ERIH PLUS, CIRC, Latindex, MIAR, OEI Library, Iresie, REDIB, DOAJ, Dulcinea, ZB, REBIUN, Sudoc, WorldCat and Copac.
