Antonio Fernández González
Antonio Fernández González (A Pontenova, 1971), has a PhD from the Autonomous University of Madrid, a Diploma in Teaching (University of Santiago de Compostela), a Degree in Psychopedagogy and a Degree in Pedagogy (Complutense University of Madrid).
He currently works as an Associate Professor of the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education of the Autonomous University of Madrid and in the Ministry of Education of the Community of Madrid.
Member of the GICE research group “Educational Change for Social Justice” and the RIEJS editorial board “International Journal of Education for Social Justice”.
He has taught in Infant, Primary and Secondary Education with various responsibilities in different educational centers, speaker in permanent teacher training activities and participant in educational innovation projects.
His main line of research relates Psychosocial Adaptation to Emotional Intelligence emphasizing its importance to favor positive academic results. He is co-author of the TESIS (Social Interaction Sensitivity Test) published in Albor-Cohs, a Social Sensitivity ability test that can be used in the measurement of certain aspects of Emotional Intelligence.
