UNESCO publishes an article on the manifestations of stigma and discrimination related to Covid19 with the collaboration of the Chair

UNESCO has made a first approach towards the acts of discrimination and stigma derived from the COVID-19 crisis. On this line, UNESCO has consulted 10 UNESCO Chairs, and among them the UNESCO Chair in Education for Social Justice, which work on human rights and social inclusion to collect information on this global phenomenon in their respective countries.

This article aims to illustrate the great diversity of stigma and discrimination manifestations through the collecting experiences in different contexts. Despite the sacarcity of data on this aspect, the media indicates that, among the diversity of forms and contexts, there is a certain pattern against certain groups and that it is reproduced worldwide.
