Milk. Film that shows the story of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay politician elected to public office in the United States, and who was assassinated a year later. At forty, tired of running away from himself, Milk decides to come out of the closet and go live in California with Scott Smith. Once there, he opens a business that soon becomes the meeting point for homosexuals in the neighborhood. Milk becomes his spokesperson and, to defend his rights, he does not hesitate to confront businessmen, unions and politicians. Her courage encourages others to follow.
