Infant and Primary School (CEIP) Manuel Núñez de Arenas: a school with a goblin

On Monday, December 2, we shared a meeting with teachers and families at the Manuel Núñez de Arenas Public School. During this meeting we present the results of the ethnographic study carried out in this same school and entitled “CEIP Manuel Núñez de Arenas: a school with a goblin”.

The study was carried out as part of the doctoral thesis “Creating democracy in schools. An ethnographic study on power, community and education”, developed by Guillermina Belavi in the framework of the R&D of the UNESCO Chair in Education for Social Justice Democracy in schools as the foundation of an education for Social Justice.

Teachers and families attended the talk, discussed the results of the report and shared experiences related to the exercise of democracy in their school.
