Doctor of Law and Professor hired Doctor of Administrative Law from the Autonomous University of Madrid, and for four years, Coordinator of the Master in Governance and Human Rights of the UAM.

The main lines of research on which he works, and on which he has several specialized publications, are:

• The protection of natural resources, especially mountains, waters and coasts. Territorial contracts, and other legal instruments that enable Payment for Environmental Service (PSA).
• The administrative organization, especially the local one. The local mercantile societies.
